RRC Northern Railway Eligibility 2026 | ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಅರ್ಹತೆ
Educational qualifications differ according to the post and pay level.
Level 1 – Group D Qualification
- 10th pass with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT; or
- 10th pass with ITI qualification; or
- Other equivalent qualifications accepted under the official notification.
Level 2 – Group C Qualification
- 12th pass with at least 50% aggregate marks; or
- Matriculation with Course Completed Act Apprenticeship for applicable technician categories; or
- Matriculation with ITI qualification recognised by NCVT/SCVT for applicable technician categories.
The 50% marks requirement is not applicable to specified SC/ST and Ex-servicemen candidates for NTPC categories, and candidates holding higher qualifications such as graduation or post-graduation, as provided in the notification.

Scouts & Guides Qualification – Mandatory Eligibility | ಸ್ಕೌಟ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗೈಡ್ಸ್ ಅರ್ಹತೆ
This is the most important eligibility condition in RRC Northern Railway Scouts and Guides Recruitment 2026. General educational qualifications alone are not sufficient.
Applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Must be a President Scout, President Guide, Rover or Ranger, or hold a Himalaya Wood Badge (HWB) in any section.
- Must have been an active member of a Scouts organisation for the last five years.
